Life Stinks
I have more bills than I have money. It's always that way. It's not like I'm doing something stupid with my money either. I just have more bills than I have money to pay them. By stupid I mean I'm not out gambling at the casino every night or every week, I'm not running around buying DVDs, CDs, gemstone jewelry, etc. I'm just working as hard as I can at my job, and I'm not making enough to actually pay all of my bills.
For example - this payday I have rent ($190), cable ($145), credit card ($115), and couch ($76). Note that I did not include the cell phone bill I need to pay and that my friend and her mom are graciously ignoring that I haven't paid, the gas money I owe LaShawn & Tracy, and GROCERIES. I'll have to find a way to get cat food for my cat and possibly dog food for the dog, but I'm gonna have to suffer on whatever is in my apartment when I get paid. I DO have food, not good stuff... a few pieces of chicken, some hamburger patties, rice-a-roni mixes, mac & cheese, spaghetti w/sauce, ramen noodles, a few cans of Chef Boyardee ravioli. So I do have food. I have sugar, water, and Flavor Aid mix so I can make that for drinks if I have to, or I can just drink water. Either way I have food and beverages.
Now I can hear some of you now, but isn't your cable bill high? Not if you have cable, internet, and phone through the cable company. :) I'm supposedly getting a discount for having digital cable, internet, and phone through the cable company. The only reason I keep paying the extra for the digital cable is because of the DVR. My shows are on when I'm not home to watch them, and in some cases there's 2 on at once. A VCR can't tape 2 shows at once, so the DVR is the better option for me.
So yes, life stinks right now. Eventually I will dig myself out of this financial hole I'm in and I'll be better for the experience. I hope.
