What are some ways you save money?

Well, let me see here. I'll go to the dollar store for items I know I can get there. Dollar Tree is my favorite because EVERYTHING is a buck. Seriously. EVERYTHING. So it's cool for cleaning supplies and stuff like that. I also look for sales on my favorite items and buy the generics or store brands of things. I am the generic pop-tart queen, especially since Wal-Mart put their brand to being $1.00 a box. :) A lot of times, I won't buy something unless it goes on sale. Like CDs and DVDs, video games, etc. If they aren't on sale, I usually don't buy them. Just simple things like that. Occasionally I'll clip coupons, but nine times out of ten, I forget to take them with me. LOL So I usually don't bother with those.
I also look for the cheapest cat litter and dog foods. My dog will eat anything, but my cat is picky so he gets name brand only. My picky feline only eats 9 Lives Daily Essentials. Anything else he'll turn up his nose at or puke back up. Brat. :) But I do love my kitty. :)
Other than that, I don't do much to save money. Although I did recently cancel a few of my memberships to various websites and places so as to not have to worry about making those payments.
