I'm starting to see just how saturated the market is when it comes to diet aids. I can go to Wally World and see several different ones hanging out on the shelves there. I can go to a nutrition store and see several different ones hanging around on shelves there. I'm even seeing stuff on the internet about various diet pills, Anoretix included. It's really starting to get ridiculous. Of course, in today's world, no one wants to have to work at anything, including losing weight. It's just easier to pop a pill or two and sit back and hope it works. If it doesn't, we move on to the next pill. It's sad to see that people just don't use the good old methods anymore...diet and exercise.
Now I know I'm fat. I've known this for years. It isn't anything that is new to me. I didn't wake up this morning and say "Oh my gosh, I'm huge!" But you know, it really gets irritating getting emails offering the top diet pills for the cheapest price if you get them from website X. Ok, that's all well and good, but truthfully, I'd rather make sure I was getting them from the most reputable source, if I was interested in taking them at all. Which, frankly, I am not. If I'm losing weight, for my own personal preference, it's going to be by diet and exercise, although neither of those has really worked for me in the past. I'll figure it out though.
I'll bet you thought I was talking about my mind, didn't you? LOL Nope. Although losing that isn't easy either. But what I'm talking about losing is weight. I have a weight loss blog that is currently sorely being neglected, as is my membership a Goodbye Blubber. I've stopped utilizing my various diet helpers, some of which I am actually still paying monthly fees to. I have yet to decide whether or not to make use of diet aids such as Miracle burn. I'm not saying that all diet supplements are bad. But there are some that I feel may be dangerous. One of them was one a friend of mine took and she ended up with kidney failure because of it.
I feel the diet supplements such as these can be used if a person wishes, but that they should have to be monitored by a physician. By all means, allow people to get them over the counter, but at least let your doctor know that you're going to try taking them. At least then if you happen to be one of the unlucky few who have complications, your doctor already knows that you've been taking the supplements and can decide if that had anything to do with your illness.
If I decide to use these types of things for myself, I will most definitely be making absolutely certain that I have my doctor's permission to use them and that he is following my progress with them closely.
Well, I'm on the Atkins diet now. I'm also on a funky diet prescribed by my doctor as well. Some of it fits in with Atkins and some of it doesn't. But as long as I'm on these diets, I was thinking of getting myself some new cookware as a reward for weight loss. I've been looking around, and I'm thinking of the berndes cookware. Of course, this is all dependent on my losing the weight necessary to get the reward. I've also planned on some rewards like a wand, athame, etc for my ritual tools collection. I love new ritual tools. My last one was a candle snuffer that I just love. It's very simple and I think that's why I like it. Anyways, I'd better get going. I have to be to work in a couple of hours and I still have to get ready. Talk to you later!
Calories I mean. I'm trying to lose weight, so making sure I stay within my calorie limit each day is extremely important. Too many calories and I won't lose weight. Too few calories and I'm going to make myself sick from not getting enough fuel into my body. It's a fine line and I don't want to mess it up. That's why I'm so happy that I found the free calorie counter at MyFitnessPal.com. This site offers so much for people who are looking to lose weight safely.
